Residence permit (family ties) processing

Anyone here who got the residence permit on family ties recently. I know very case to case but for a general idea.

1. how much it took?? (when applied and when you got??)
2. where you applied??

your responses will be appreciated.

2 family members applied in October at police station. Transferred to Migri January 1 and status is still waiting for processing as of today.

9 month no reply. I applied at the embassy.

There is no problem with the applications. Migri has a backlog due to taking over permit processing January 1 from the police.

i also applied for my spouse residence permit in January 2017 and there is no reply but I think 9 month is maximum time for the decision of application.

what are you grounds on which you applied ??

Yes, they simply told me "we cannot tell you any thing more, just wait!!".

Family ties.

They might make some mistakes while they process applications, I will write about it later.

Finaly I advise anyone who applied for a residence permit to Keep Asking About Your Application Status.

Bad advice. When you frustrate the people working for you, they will not work harder to help you. On the contrary, your application might suddenly be misplaced.

I am agreeing with you that we have not to ask about the status again and again because it's their work they don't want to delay that without any reasons. they never are very fast after just asking about the status of the application.

Bad reply, which shows the writer sees things from one angle.

The previous advise is based on several experiences and is directed at people who want to maintain their Time and Money.

One family member received decision today. Other one is sure to follow soon. Both applied in October on the same day.

Applied late last year and received my permit last month
