Hi I got a Job and moving to Helsinki by March.
My proposed salary is 2800Euros before tax.
How much would be the actual tax% deduction on this salary?.
How much would a reasonable apartment cost at Helsinki near Kamppi center.
Is the medical expenses covered by the government.
Do I need to take a medical insurance and if yes, How much it would cost me monthly.
Please let me know on the above details if possible.

You can calculate it online here: https://prosentti.vero.fi/VPL2018/Sivut ... iedot.aspx
For this salary you will pay 15,5% + 8.25% as total taxes.
Near Kamppi > rent min 800-900€ / month.
You don't need any medical insurance, the basic coverage is done by state (once you get the Kela card) and the employer most probably will provide you also with some private insurance with some provider like Terveystalo, etc.

Thank you for sharing the details
Can you share details of some place where I can initially stay for a week or two until I rent out an apartment.
Which is lesser price probably lesser than 15 euro per day.

Re: Living expenses at helsinki
Probably nowhere, unless you have a friend who will provide the accommodation. In the city central area, 450 euros (15 * 30) does not get one even a studio apartment, so anyone renting it at that price would be doing it at a loss. Hostels in Helsinki seem to be around 40€ and up per night.
I'd strongly suggest seeking longer term accommodation further away from the city center, otherwise you'd be spending bulk of your income on housing alone. Kamppi is a public transportation hub (metro, trams, buses), if that's where your workplace is, you could easily save a couple of hundred each month by using the metro for 10-15 minutes each way.

You can try temporary to find with AirBnB, https://www.forenom.com, EasyHomes, etc-

Could you please suggest a suitable location near to kamppi so that i can sue the metro or bus to save money.
Max travel 30 min in one direction.
How much does monthly metro pass cost?
At what rate could I get an apartment away from the center.
Thanks in advance.
