Traineeship in a pharmacy

Hey! I am a pharmacy student from the Czech republic and I would like to do a traineeship in a finnish pharmacy after my graduation. I have already contacted several companies, however withouth any success.
By any chance, is there anyone who could help me or give me some advice?

How are your Finnish language skills? The answer might already give you a hint on why you'll have a hard time finding a place.

As a pharmacist, you need to speak Finnish

My spouse is a pharmacist and could not even get an unpaid work practice in a pharmacy here with an intermediate level of Finnish. They all required fluent Finnish skills only.

Probably the customer demographic dictates the language skills needed.

The truth is my finnish is really basic. However, I was hoping perhaps as a trainee I could get an exception.. seems not

You are saying you are a pharmacy student, and still you don't want to understand the absolute necessity of being able to communicate precisely and at a very high level both with clients and colleagues when dealing with potent pharmaceuticals??

Honestly, without proper language skills, you would not even be qualified to restock the shelves.

And we are not even yet talking about knowledge of country-specific laws, regulations, customs & practices, and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Imho that would be fine for a trainee. Then again the people roaming pharmacy seem to be über eager to offer their help nowadays. I would like to have some foreigners there, that are unable to communicate with me, so I could browse the wares in peace

The last one should be covered as the drugs industry is quite global.

OP's problem lies in that Finnish pharmacies are quite tied to local schools. Largest chain's name is translated to English is University's pharmacy.

I believe you must get trained Finnish first to work in pharmaceuticals.
