New Citizenship

I recently became a US citizen, I'm also a Finnish citizen. Would it be a problem if the new citizenship wasn't updated in Maistraatti? Legalizing the citizenship requires a lot of time and effort to have it ready to present to Maistraatti. Is there a penalty or a fine if I didn't do the update?

Appreciate your insight on this.

Might want to google "maistraatti dual citizenship", the information is there in the first hit. As for possible penalties for not following the law, I don't know, probably not more than a fine.
