Please share your experience! Was there an interview? Anything extra you had to submit?

My partner and I are planning to rent an apartment together in finland + get a joint bank account.

It's Intimate Relationship RP, not cohabiting partner. So it's for those who haven't lived together for 2 years but planning to continue their life together in Finland/get married/have family.

Update:

Exactly two months after applying, my fiancé just got a physical mail from Migri. The mail includes eight (8) questions in total and they are giving her two weeks to finalize everything.

I'm also getting ready to move in with my partner in Finland and apply under the Intimate Relationship RP. Thank you so much for sharing all the documentation you prepared - I'm going to use it as a reference. I have one question for anyone with experience, I'm currently in the process of getting a divorce (it should be finalized by the summer, but it takes a while here) and my partner in Finland has been divorced for a few years - do you think this will impact our chances?

-clarification of income and everything related to it
- 6 months bank statement
-bank certificate
-cover letter
-timeline of dating and living together
-photos of me and my partner
-form with passport-sized photo
-leases
-flight tickets
-form mp_1 for applicants already in finland

Hello! I got an e-mail this morning about the positive decision AND that my Residence Permit Card is already available at the Consular Office of Finland. Six (6) months and five (5) days after my application/biometrics/interview at the Embassy. Four (4) months after my partner sent the supplements.

We applied this for my so. Within 2 months after application, they sent about twelve questions for us to answer. After that total radio silence for six months since application. According to website could be three more months before decision...

Hello,

I applied for the Intimate Relationship RP from outside of Finland around two weeks ago. I submitted a paper application at my nearest embassy and had my fingerprints taken.

I was told that I would receive my decision through email or post as I did not use the e-service. I'm wondering if anyone has a similar experience and could let me know how you were notified of the decision and/or if you were given any updates similar to the e-service updates?
