Resident Permit decision will be delivered by Police?

so, do I understand correctly, if you were invited to collect your decision from police department, then it is always a negative one ?

I ve got email today ''Hello ..............., you are kindly requested to come to Espoo police department immigration unit on 26.07.2019 13.00 pm. We will talk about your case. Take your passport with you.

8,5 months of waiting

on 8th of may got email that ''decision is ready, wait for authorities to contact you''

applied on paper form from Finland and during process time stayed in Finland

Interesting part is that police want to ''talk about my case'' , wtf, migri already mentioned that decision is ready on 8th of may, what is there to talk about, i dont understand

I have not heard of anyone getting anything other than a negative decision from these. However, this is an anonymous forum and not everyone who applies for a permit is on here and not everyone reports back about their case. migri decision was negative due to TE Office negative decision... Why was TE Office decision negative, because they needed some additional information about me and they could not reach out my employer, they sent one email only, and he just didnt see it by mistake, so people, be aware that it is very important for TE Office to reach out your employer at any time, they will send only one email, and if employer dont answer in time, they will just make it negative ,without further processing... Maybe someone knows, is there any point to appeal this case, really, we waited for so long and now because of this ridiculous reason, thats it, game over ? doesnt TE Office have to get some kind of confirmation, signature or something from my employer, that he have received their email ? When they could not reach out my employer, why they didnt send email to me instead.

So sorry to hear that. I would 100% appeal if it was me with a letter from your employer AND all of the documentation requested.

same thing happened with me . and i am very upset about this . just only one email and if didn't response in time then it means game over ?? i really dont know what will i do ..
