Well better not take any risk

It does not bother me to wait. I want to keep everthing smooth and steady for the authorities
But I got your point.

Anyone up for their view. Stayed in B permit for 4 yrs 3 months no travel outside finland. Then 1 year A permit and 28 days of travel outside Eu and 10 days inside EU 10 months apart. Then 4 years permit, travelled out of Finland 11.5 months and back. After I am back now stayed almost 1.5 years. Is that enough for citizenship. Anyone similar case where stay is almost a year but not more than a year and any consequences.

Hi guys,
I just started lurking last night. I have some questions about the time line.
Did you wait until your period of residence was exactly met, amount of day wise? For example, let's say it is gonna be full 4 years on 20 August 2019, is it ok to submit the form+payment before that date?
From what I gathered, some did that at like 3.5 year and it was fine. But I would love to hear more about it. Thanks in advance for your input.
edit: grammar

I at least had 9 years in Finland before I applied. I waited mostly because I didn't speak Finnish and I kept postponing taking the YKI test...

Yes you can apply before the date yii will complete yoir time period.
I applied after 4.5 years of A visa. My full 5 years period will complete during this month. So no problem in that

Or married to a Finn, or having close ties to Finland with language skills. For latter it is enough to have a steady job and that language skills.

Hi
Just got a positive decision on my application this morning at 9:40.
21.3.2019: Applied online
22.3.2019: Proved my identity at Vaasa service point
15.8.2019: Received a positive decision
The application was never in stage 2 before I received the decision.
I have never been asked for any supplement, but I did upload my latest payslip every month.
Gook luck everybody!
