I am moving abroad and won't use my Finnish SIM for a while, is there any cheap/no internet subscription package available in Finland? I only want to keep my number. Thanks!

Have check the websites? There is only three providers, it doesn't sound like too much work

Moi.fi is probably the cheapest. And I think it will be on top of the big three you thought about.

Just put it out here for anyone in similar situation, there is `Numeroparkki ` package which let you park your number. You can still call&text but data is disabled. It costs 2.9/month, which is pretty good deal.

brilliant, thanks a lot. I used to have e0/month subscription, little by little they have raised the fee, now it is e8....
but I have asked elisa if there is option not to pay monthly fee when outside EU since one cannot use the data/call package. they have not yet replied,

You actually can. My wife has 5GB/month to use in the EU (unlimited inside Finland) with her Elisa subscription. She pays 10€

EDIT: Sorry I just saw you wrote "outside EU", so forget about what I told before.

I'm reeeally close to switch away from Elisa. That would be my second time switching operators in some twenty odd years, so I'm not one to jump ship willy nilly.
