Hello!
So I have applied for an extension for a residence permit on the basis of work ( requiring partial decision ), I didn't have back then my master's degree. I have got a negative decision for that same reason.
No that I have my degree I Have two choices, either go back to my home country and reapply as a specialist or stay here and appeal the decision.
But I'm afraid that the appeal will take approx 1 year, and on the other hand going back to my home country doesn"t seem like a wise decision neither( since that it might take longer than the company i'm working for can afford and therefore lose my chances to work here).
I'm kindly asking for opinions and advice.
thank you

Re: residence permit
My understanding is that you're here on a student residence permit, and that you were offered a job? You can already start working on that student permit. You need to apply for an extended permit with the residence permit application for person with a degree completed in Finland. There's no labour market test for that one.
