I got mine in 9 months n 15 days.
So my guess is, you might get it by 10 or 15 January, as holiday season is around.

It's a shame that someone who applied in July got decision in September and because of that we wait longer. I know someone personally, and I know envy feeling is a bad thing, but that person has lived here much less than me and barely passed swedish, with writing failed, while I got 4 in all parts of Finnish yki I've been here for more than 7 years... I don't see any logic in all that

If this is the case then why it's going to be 10 months for my application on 20 December without any progress? I don't think that 9.5 months are enough for them. I still say you are the lucky one.

If this is the case then I am the oldest applicant perhaps

I wish they could really consider the queue if it really exists...

Any news from anyone???
For my application, 10.5 months now.
On enterfinland, it's written "it usually takes 7 to 18 months to process an application."

For me it's been 9th month of waiting. Has that 7 to 18 months always been there? I just now looked at it somewhere down there where I never looked before, I'm wondering if it's something they added this year... Or has it always been there?

They have added this info now. 18 months was never mentioned anywhere before as per my knowledge. I had heard about only one case that took 18 months but just because there was some problems with documents of the applicant which prolonged the case to 18 months. But now mentioning 18 months normally for processing is something which is really scary...

Yeah, it is crazy. I hope they mean in case of documents problem.. But yet, it is not like 12 to 18,but 7 to 18, so maybe it's not too bad. Let's see how it goes.

Yeah but mentioning maximum time limit means that they r not in hurry and we are not liable to ask them until it reaches the maximum time limit. First they said 7 then 12, now 18....who knows next?
