Hello,
I am living in Australia, working for a management consultancy. I have an EU and Australian passport.
I have been offered a secondment with a Finnish consultancy paying around 6000 Gross or 3600 Net, is this quite a decent pay? It is a full-time role with some other inclusions like mobile phone etc and a moving allowance of around 8000 EU (Flights etc.) Currently I save about half of my salary, would I still have a very good life on this pay as a single adult?
It seems I would be earning about a quarter less in Finland than in Au with similar living costs, my plan would be to stay for 2 years.
Initially, I had hoped to retain my role in AU but it seems I can only do a transfer, I would be doing this for the experience and not necessarily for the money,

It is at the upper end of normal salaries in Finland.qsilver_za wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 6:15 amI have been offered a secondment with a Finnish consultancy paying around 6000 Gross or 3600 Net, is this quite a decent pay?
Your salary would be OK as sole income for a family of 4.qsilver_za wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 6:15 amCurrently I save about half of my salary, would I still have a very good life on this pay as a single adult?
Without children or mortgage you can have a very good life with that salary.
This is realistic, and also answers your question regarding the very good life with your salary.qsilver_za wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 6:15 amIt seems I would be earning about a quarter less in Finland than in Au with similar living costs,
