Hey everyone
Last week my visa type c got rejected , i was planning to get married to my finnish fiance , they rejected it because i said the truth that im planning to get married
Im thinking now to apply for residence , she cant come these days to get married because of her work and my country restrictions
So im thinking to apply for this

It doesnt have details about what type of residence ill get but i think its b type
Am i able to apply for this if they know that im planning to get married to her ?
Am i able to apply for A residence after getting married ?
How much money should i have when i apply is 10k euro enogh?

Easiest way for you is to apply for EU family member in another EU country. She applied for EU right of residence and you for family member card before that you apply for short term Shengen visa for traveling to that EU country she is also traveling to. They will have to give you this visa by right. Btw, which country are you in right now if you don't mind me asking?

No money is required for a spouse of a Finnish citizen, for intimate relationship the amount is stated on the page you linked.Omajenn1234 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 10:18 pmHow much money should i have when i apply is 10k euro enogh?
For either intimate relationship or family residence permit it might take a year to get a decision, the 5–8 months on the page you linked are only an estimate.

Yeah it's a long process. If he takes the EU route he will be in Finland in a matter of months and will have the right to work from the beginning.FinlandGirl wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 12:53 amYes.Omajenn1234 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 10:18 pmSo im thinking to apply for this

It requires the Finnish spouse to live in another EU country for at least 3 months.Maaria wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 2:19 amYeah it's a long process. Yes, that's right. I am aware of that. I brought my husband as a family member of EU. So his spouse has to be Finnish or EU partner. He said he was planning to get married. So I suggested. There are many options in the EU without disrupting her life except very slightly.FinlandGirl wrote: ↑Fri Oct 02, 2020 6:15 amIt requires the Finnish spouse to live in another EU country for at least 3 months.

Do you think its good idea to apply for schengen visa c for any eu country (when they open again for tourist) and then go to finland and get married there and apply for residence there ?
