Hi,
My fiancee and I are planning to get married in Finland. Is it okay to mention marriage as a reason for getting the tourist visa? I live in Finland, she's going to apply for a visa.
Wedding as a purpose of visiting for a tourist visa

Update on this:
My fiancee mentioned in her plan of the visit that she wants to spend some time with me and get married. She received a tourist visa for a year.

"A visa is an entry permit for a short, temporary visit of less than 90 days." https://um.fi/visa-to-visit-finland
"If you want to stay in Finland for a longer period than three months, you need a residence permit." https://um.fi/residence-permits-to-finland
Are you sure that she got visa?

The visa is valid for one year. But she can't spend more than 90 days in 180 days period. ( default tourist visa Schengen rules)Upphew wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 3:02 pm"A visa is an entry permit for a short, temporary visit of less than 90 days." https://um.fi/visa-to-visit-finland

A multiple entry visa, for example, wouldn’t work without being valid for a longer time.Upphew wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 3:02 pm"A visa is an entry permit for a short, temporary visit of less than 90 days." https://um.fi/visa-to-visit-finland
