Student resident permit for online masters

I have applied for a Masters program in Diak university. Now I come to know that the program is 100% online. I want to know: can I get student permit for this masters program? Does the admission offer letters mention that the program is online? Please reply if anybody knows.

Thanks for your reply. The migri says that open university courses are not sufficient for student residence permit. But the masters program I mentioned is not related to open university but a proper degree program. Even I was not aware that it was online until I asked about the mode of studies.

There is more than one reason for what might not be sufficient.

Do you want to have in-person teaching where you will meet the people with whom you are studying, or are online studies fine for you?
There is no point for you to move to Finland if you might be the only student in your course who will be living in Finland.

It’s the same as employment from a Finnish employer that is 100% online. No residence permit if the work doesn’t require your presence in Finland. Migri does not explicitly state this for students on their website but as you can see with the link below, another school has lots of experience with migri specific requirements.
