i was wondering if there might be any foreigners in the Hämeenlinna/Riihimäki/Hyvinkää region??

reviving this thread, i am a foreigner and was thinking that its damn expensive in espoo, any foreigners living in Hämeenlinna/Riihimäki/Hyvinkää that can comment if there are other foreigners or if finnish people dont see much and then would stare at you ??

How is it if you have family and kids that need to go to school as well ?

If no one has more direct experience, my (online) Finnish teacher lives somewhere outside of Riihimäki. If you like I could ask, though I can't guarantee any useful insight.

I am a foreigner and live just south of Hyvinkaa and it's a really nice town. They left lots of green space in the suburbs so I can cycle through the town mostly surrounded by trees. They rebuilt the centre of the town about 10 years ago and there's a large shopping mall and small park in the centre.

People don't stare at me because I'm a foreigner .. but how would they know without talking to me?
