Mate what makes our applications have been kept long like that? Something wrong with our applications? Asking because 7kk applicants are getting their decisions. Migri really treat some applicants inhumane.

I still haven’t seen any forward movement since April.
And I’m in place 50-ish
Got my decision today. Handed in my declaration in May 2022

I graduated and met the every requirement. country not in the list. Still in first stage for 8 months. just 1 months ago asked for supplement and after that still no change of application status. serial is 4282. Do you guys think i might get decision within expected time ? Anyone with same category here?

I think it was an automated message that you get. If it is still stage 1 then nobody opened your application yet.
Expected time for decision is up to 26 months, so it can be the situation that you will wait for 1,5 years more.

Well that sounds like rubbish.
He said "Still in first stage for 8 months. just 1 months ago asked for supplement and after that still no change of application status".
So they asked for a supplement, without opening the application?
Right.

Well, I also got an email to supplement my application exactly after 1 year. I suppose they made some new update in the system to send this email every few month. We probably will see it again asking to supplement without anyone checking our application. That is very sad and annoying and it gave me so much hope that after more than a year they really are checking but I believe it is just non sense automated message sent to many trying to make us feel something might happen... The way they handle applicants is really unfair. we deserve to know the details of our application and why it takes long.

I checked migri processing time calculator, there is an option to choose yes or no for the question "Did you arrive in Finland without getting a residence permit in advance?". If I choose "yes" the waiting time is up to 26 months. If I choose "no" it is up to 16 months. Why there is such a big difference? The first is for refugees, the second for all others?

Do not mind that also. I came with residence permit and I have valid passport but I have been waiting for 17 months. When I ask them about that they said it is up to 26 months and when I try to say I have been waiting already for over 16 months no clear answer. All these things are to make us wait or somehow give us hopes.

I really do not understand how is this possible. Two of my friends with exactly same condition, same work place, and one of them same nationality, got their citizenship in 5-7 month. For me it is now 13 month, no response. I am not sure hiring a lawyer can help to get more response. At least we deserve to know why it is taking so long.
