For the past 17 months, I used to receive emails starting like this below. The first always was saying there are backlogs and now the new one says to supplement Hopefully this means something positive

Travelling

Inform us if you have travelled abroad after submitting the application. If you have travelled abroad, tell us:

• Which country did you travel to?

• What was the reason for the trip?

• When did you travel abroad and when did you return to Finland?

Financial resources

Inform us of the current source of your livelihood.

• If you have the same job, send us your latest pay slip.

• If you have changed jobs, send us your employment contract and your latest pay skip.

• If you receive any benefits from the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela), please do not send us any Kela decisions. The Finnish Immigration Service will get the details of the benefits directly from Kela.

• To find out how you can prove you have financial resources, see the website of the Finnish Immigration Service:

If you have submitted an online application, send your reply in the Enter Finland service.

Sorry for destroying your hopes, but this is just autogenerated message. I've got 2 of those (the second one in October).

Yes, I got also one. automated message. no one is checking, just system thinks it is outdated and asks for update. I got first time after a year and nothing after that happened. Just send them what they asked for. Me, yes in stage 1, waiting, after 15 month.

I got a positive decision yesterday. After waiting 16 months,
I called them last Thursday and asked if they needed additional documents and why was application not attended to.
The lady apologized she had no explanation but will forward my complain to the case officer. The same day I went to stage 2 and yesterday decision was made.

Can you share if your application was already in stage 2? Because if in stage 1, there is no case officer for it. I called many times and they just kept repeating wait for 25 month.

Very weird why they take one phone call seriously but again not caring about another phone call. I am also waiting for around 15 month and they told me average is 25 while Kamu gives me average 7-16 month. really confused how they do things.

May be your finnish skills are not so perfect to be persuasive
But it might be just a lucky case. You never know who will take your call and what will happen next. I know one family who got citizenship decision in two weeks with a help of migri worker, so it's all about the person you contact to.

May be your finnish skills are not so perfect to be persuasive
But it might be just a lucky case. You never know who will take your call and what will happen next. I know one family who got citizenship decision in two weeks with a help of migri worker, so it's all about the person you contact to.

How did migri worker help? Was the migri worker someone working in one of the migri centers where you submit your applications?
