Yep done the proper way! IMHOSara wrote:Richard, was that the roast potatoes she was looking at?
1) Part-Boil.
2) Scuff-up the outsides with a fork.
3) Cover well in oil, and place in roasting tin.
4) Remove at 30 minute interval's and roll them
in the meat juice.
5) Eat perfect tasty and crunchy roast spuds.
I do the same minus the meat juice.
I think I might do lamb on Sunday, roasties, mint sauce and some fresh veg ummmmmmmmm
Profiteroles for dessert
IMO the best herb is rosemary, it goes so well over everything. Bashed up rosemary with some garlic and a little olive oil, really rubbed into the meat. (Jamie Oliver is my kitchen hero!

I really want to get some good herbs growing on the balcony this summer.

balcony herb garden
Beat you to it Sara. We planted all our seedlings last week and they have started sproutíng, when they are bit gigger we can select the best ones and plant them in the troughs on the balcony, it will be a relief to free up the dining room table again which is where they are all growing now!
We have glass balcony so nowhere to hang those troughs, so we bought a set of freestanding metal shelves from Bauhaus and will fill them up with our little babies. We have everything from Rosemary to Thyme, Mint, Coriander, and wild strawberries + more I can't remember!! You will have to come and see our little greenhouse!!

Daive, hope you remember to leave mint in a pot if replanting because it spreads like wildfire!!!
Im going to buy some plants rather than seedlings, I killed off loads of basil seedlings last year.
I fancy one of those big clay pots that have all the different holes in them, if you get what I mean!
We just have a bog standard balcony so I want to be able to bring the collection to the kitchen for the winter.
I just want a big garden
Id have rhubarb, gooseberries, strawberries, a little greenhouse for tomatoes, peas etc
