I got a positive decision after almost 31 months of waiting.
I was informed by an SMS about the decision.
Queue number was 150.
I applied on 09.2020
Country is not on the list but I am a sand person.
My "hint" : when you ask about your case, maybe it is better to contact directly the officer who is on charge of your case and not info at Migri. In my case the officer gave me more insight into the process.
Thank you all!

Thanks!kalaizanala wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 5:03 pmCongrats!
You was mentioned here that you have a friend in Migri. Did he/she helped you to get a decision so fast?
No... She knows it would have been legally unfair treatment. Also she works with residence permits, while citizenship applications have a dedicated/separated team.
What she "helped" with was just giving those insights about how things work there and wishing good luck.
But I believe there's a pattern with recent applications. For example someone who got the decision a week before me also applied around a week before. And another friend who got the decision a few days before me also applied around the same time.
Perhaps newer applications are going through automated processes which were introduced only recently, while old ones follow an older process and for some reason cannot be migrated (that's my guess as a software developer).
The consequence is that to hit and improve their quotas and statistics, Migri employees will prioritize processing several of the new/faster applications.
At least the part of employees trying to process as many applications as they can to improve their numbers is something I heard from my friend.

One question, how long did you wait in stage 2?
Re: Citizenship Application 2023
Kamu is not working 2 days now. ‘“Oho, jotain meni nyt pieleen. Yritäthän myöhemmin uudelleen.”
Application is stage 2 moved in August queue number is 11xx Applied 2021/05
