Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, I just ask myself “what have I done wrong to wait for my decision over 2v without hearing anything “. Do migri really care about mental health of some the customers?

My brother take heart ok. Migri does not care at all and as I keep saying just one day all this will be over for us. Our mental and psychological health is nothing they take into consideration. As someone said migri doesn't serve Finnish citizens so they choose to behave anyhow because they have the backing of many Finnish people.

After this ordeal I will just say goodbye because in all fairness this is not right

Does anybody have experience renewing residence permit while waiting for citizenship?

I've been waiting for citizenship for 13 months (still stage 1), and my current RP expires in a month. I've applied for RP renewal in the beginning of March but that one also idles in queue even though the case is pretty straightforward - last time it was renewed in one day.

Any ideas what is going on? They don't want to do the RP renewal because they are going to grant citizenship soon? Or should I worry that I will end up with expired RP & henkilökortti etc?

This morning got a message that my RP was renewed - took almost two months.

You’re better than me dude . PR application pending for 6 months. Citizenship application waiting for 17 months. The month is almost over and I don’t think I’m that high on their hierarchy to get a decision soon and so I’ll try and hope again next month still. Good luck to everyone.

Just an update for my case. Applied last October, got my decision today. Almost 18 month and half and just before Vappu. They sent email that application is under review, but I didn't get by email the decision is ready, I just checked enterfinland and noticed decision is ready.

This last 18 month of my life was the most stressful, painful that I probably never forget but also the happiness after that is unbelievable. I wish all of you get your decision soon and just stay strong. I know that pain.
