My waiting time is approaching 21m - and I checked with Migri yesterday.
Their response was that they are still processing May'22 applications - and their new processing estimate is 23m now.
Really frustrating and disappointing, indeed

Well. I am reached the 21 months of waiting as well. I sent an email to Migri earlier and there response was like it will take 29 months. I am not an asylum seeker nor from a county on the list. And I am on a work residence permit. Just clarifying for the ones who will start making assumptions.

You see we have two people who are waiting 21 mo ths already ok this forum. To the first one migri just recently told to wait 23 months and to you 29. So, your application is different than

Are you from somewhere in middle-east? I noticed before they give 29 months estimate to people from that region.

Has anyone been on stage 2 of citizenship application for longer period without any reasons ?
I haven’t been asked any supplementary information neither got any decision yet . It makes me more worried without knowing any reason to wait ..!!

I've been reading this question asked quite many times. I assume it's normal. Also, I don't think anyone actually knows what is done within stage 2..

Speaking for myself, I went to stage 2 almost immediately after visiting the service point. Someone mentioned in a more recent post that it is thought to be a glitch. Who knows. Would make sense since I still get the monthly emails about waiting for processing and that there's a backlog, etc etc. Otherwise, I guess I have been in stage 2 for approx. 3 months.
