Latest stats:
Total processed: ~207
Total processed above threshold: ~144
Processed above threshold to total processed ratio: ~0.70
Processing median: ~11781/310/2023
New applications created: ~211
Wish I would be like one of those 3 people in the stats who got early decision even with queue number close to 8000

Is "processed" a decision or moving to stage 2?

Hi everyone, maybe my question sounds a little silly. After I received my permanent resident card, I applied for a new ID card. My new ID is really different from the old one I have. Is the ID card changed, or does it look different because of the permanent resident card?

Amazing

Great work Migri

Next milestone: 60 month for “general” cases, 100 month for “difficult ones”

Hey, quite many. I applied end of September and my application moved to the second stage this Monday and I’m now waiting for the decision. Applications under diary number 12000 has been checked already I think.

Anyone received a decision or has application moved to processing. If you have applied in October 2023?

Much expected, and it will keep on stacking with the total applications applied weekly higher than the processed ones. Migri has to either employ more people or change the way they process applications. I am sure more statistics and analysis are done in this forum than in Migri"s headquarters. But as i said before, how do Finns solve problems: have a meeting, drink coffee and extend the processing time...

Interestingly that chatbot still gives 6-21 months for "general"

i think it will be updated soon, if they are still processing the May 2022 applications, then 23 months is quite logical. I remember few years ago the processing time was 24 months for "normal" applications. the lowest i have seen in 11 years of being in Finland was 17 months.

I have to say, you are missing an incredible important part in the "How Finns solve problems.."

I have actually seen migri hiring new employees with code red; but those positions were starting of May 24. It might be just summer holiday replacements but one might foresee that the backlog will be catastrophic if the number of new applications do not drop during the summer while 90% of migri goes on summer holidays.

Great to hear so. What was your queue number when it moved to stage 2? I applied end of October and would love to hear.
