Working holiday visa

Post by georgeiler » Fri May 31, 2024 6:51 am

Hello
I've recently moved to Finland on a working holiday visa from USA, but a condition of this visa is that you can only work for one employer for up to 3 months. Are there any aussies that have been in the same situation and how you got around it? Is it enforced? And can I change my visa?
Thanks in advance!

Finland has an incomes registers where employers report all salary payments in realtime:
https://www.vero.fi/en/incomes-register/

Migri has access to the data.

You can apply for a residence permit on the basis of work for a job.
It costs 540 Euro and expected processing time is 2 months.
