Is it possible to install heat pump without using the balcony? My balcony is right next to the main bedroom and I don't want anything vibrating there. Can the outdoor unit be hung outside of one of the big windows (2 meter long with small openings on both sides)? If yes, how would they be maintained in future?
What about evaporative cooler? seems quite good in Australia but here the summer is rather humid, and i'm measuring 60-70%.
My underpowered portable aircon is close to useless since it heats up itself and reduces cooling ability over time...

Your municipality might have an instructions document like this: https://static.espoo.fi/cdn/ff/7Au07Sw5 ... ettava.pdf
If the municipality has no issues, it’s up to the housing company. Usually only balcony is allowed but I have seen other solutions (in for example row houses).
