I am writing to inquire about the status of my residence permit family ties extension application.
I was granted the right to join my wife, who lives in Finland. When I arrived, we had one daughter, and we have recently been blessed with another child. My wife is employed in Finland, and since my arrival, I have been attending Finnish language courses.
It has been seven months since I applied for my resident permit (family ties )extension 4 year , and I have yet to receive a response. I am concerned about the delay and would like to prepare for a potential appeal. Could we please advise me on whether there might be an issue with my application,
I Don’t what happen some can help me

From the processing time estimator you can see that the current expected processing time is six months.musbenan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 9:49 amI am writing to inquire about the status of my residence permit family ties extension application.

Summer adds some delay so seven months doesn’t seem unusual.

Re: Extended resident permit
I'd recommend contacting the immigration office directly to get a status update and ask if they need any additional info from you.
