Hello everyone!
On 5th of November I reach my 4 year period living in Finland with an A-permit. Obviously - I have to apply before the october to catch the old application-period rules (I have passed YKI testi already last year).
I have few questions regarding the application and hopefully some of you might help me out with them:
1. If I reach my required residency period on November fifth - is it okay to apply on August 6th? (gonna be 3 months / 86 days before the period get's to the sufficient amount)
2. I own an apartment in Finland - do I mention that anywhere? Does it help, in your experience?
3. When specifying for the reason I am applying for 4 years instead of 5 years - do I check the box and mention that I have sufficient language skills? Or am I not ticking that check checkbox at all and go forward with an application?
4. Should I mention anywhere - that I am applying 3 months before the deadline?
5. Strong ties to FI - I have my own toiminimi for the past 3 years, have physically lived in finland for 8 by now (don't ask about that - that's not applicable after a hickup from migri 4 years ago), own an apartment with a mortgage in FI bank and so on. Anything else, should you mention?
6. Notification of movings to & from Finland. I never notified anyone after coming back to Finland at the first RP that is going to get mentioned in that application as I already lived in here with a social security number, rented apartment and so on. What to tick & write in here?
Thanks for your input in advance!
P.S. To smart asses that are about type in "go consult with a lawyer" - I am consulting with a lawyer, but I anyway value other people's opinion and would like to get as many of those as possible.
Pls help with citizenship application form
