Today I got positive citizenship decision. I applied on Dec 5th 2023. I’m currently abroad and had forgotten to inform migri. Hopefully I can still go back to Finland with my residence permit. Wish you all luck!

And good luck on re-entry! If you are entering from outside the EU, be prepared to explain if/when they swipe your residence permit card and see that it's been cancelled.

Good question! I must admit I'm not sure about that. I, too, operate as a toiminimi but have an accountant who generated the personal deposits/withdrawals document for me.

My time has finally come and today I got my citizenship.

Timeline:
1st week of January 2023 – went to Migri to prove my identity along with my son.
middle of July 2024 – application went into second stage
this week I got a request for additional information, where I was asked to update information about 2023 and 2024 trips
I did that right away and in a few hours got a positive decision.

Some context:
I came to Finland in 2019 on a basis of work from non-EU country. Worked since then without any interruptions or Kela benefits.
I applied about 2 months before my 4 year residency.
Nothing was happening with my application up until July 2024.
When my application moved into stage 2 I was also waiting on a decision for my kid's residence permit.
I assume that fact blocked processing of my citizenship application and it did not got processed right away
Last week my kid's residence permit application got approved and this week my citizenship application got approved as well.

I got 4-year permit after graduation (it is still valid)

Yes, he was a co-applicant and also received a citizenship.
His existing residence permit was expired and I was waiting for a new one. I applied for the new one before the old one got expired.

Hi all, I have a question about the käsittelyperuste for everyone’s citizenship application. I can’t find any information online about the different processing ground types for citizenship applications.

You can find this on enter Finland website by either clicking kuitti or vireilläolotodistus and looking at the “käsittelyperuste/processing grounds” section.

Mine says “applicant has a national passport”/“hakijalla kansallinen passi”, but I’m wondering if others say differently since I did not get a residence permit until after I moved here.

Applied 23rd Dec and received the auto message as well
I didn’t need to visit, so my diary number was issued in Jan, hopefully am not in slow queue anf they start processing soon, fingers crossed
