Hi,
I would like to know if someone changed their name and/or family name in Finland before applying for citizenship for a reason other than just being married and taking the partner's family name. Did the process go smoothly or did migri ask for additional information or something?

I did. It was no problem. Make sure your passport matches your name in DVV. Mine didn’t match but I fixed it quickly as soon as Migri noticed.

Hi,
Do you mean the passport of your home country or the passport you get from Finland when you're not Finnish citizen? I mean the muukalaispassi or aliens passport.
