Dear everyone,
I am wondering about filling the application form. There is a question "Olen tehnyt muuttoilmoituksen Suomen viranomaisille kaikista muutoistani Suomessa tai Suomesta ulkomaille." Does anyone know exactly what this means? I just checked my application again and saw that I answered "No" for this question 🤐.
I hope this will not impact the processing time.
Good luck to everyone.
Thank you ones who answered my concern about that question. I'll give update when it's available.

By the way, it seems quiet recently, is there anyone receiving decision with diary number after 15th?

Good luck everyone,
Hi everyone,
I hope your application will be started soon with positive decision. I just got decision today at 11am while my application was started processing last Wednesday (6.30pm).

I just sent the additional information regarding the answer for the question above and explained that I noticed DDV about all my moves.

Some background info :
- came to Finland 1st Dec 2019, visa A, doing PhD
- from southeast Asian country
- currently having 2 jobs at the same time (full time PhD and zero contract hour in a company)
- diary number created on 19th Jan 2024 with number 43x

Good luck to everyone
Congratulations 🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏🎉👏

I am still waiting in stage 2. It’s been a week now with no request for information or anything, so hopefully I hear something soon. I got diary number on 18.1.2024

What do you guys estimate, with the current pace would the diary numbers starting 24XX/310/2024 be processed before the end of the year?

on average 1200 application / month are processed for Citizenship applications. This for sure include old application and new ones - on average from what i have seen they are doing roughly 400-600 applications / month from the 2024 new application.

Based on that i would say maybe still 4 months for you application to be processed.

Advice: contact Migri and ask about the processing time for your application by email - this will give you better estimate and also you will understand if you are filtered as a "fast process" or "complicated/slow process". Myself, i verified identity on 05 Feb 2024, today they replied that they expect my application to be processed in 1-2 months (sure this have some buffer so i expect possibly in 2 weeks to have something). My diary number 9xx/310/2024

Hi all (been away from forum after submitting the application & went for interview in Jan 2023)! Just got email 'the process has begun' so can't hold my excitement plus NERVOUSNESS. Would love to hear ab your experience with STAGE 2 and your takes on should I actively updates / send supplements for my application? Because
- Oct 2023: I quit my office job 1 year ago and did not report anything to Migri after that.
- Oct 2023 - Jan 2024: I worked part-time for a restaurant and made like a few hundred
- Jan 2024 - March 2024: No income - living off my emergency & saving fund
- April 2024 - Now: Making money by tutoring online but no contract just money sent to my bank. Soon needed to report for tax before the new year and thinking of registering Toiminimi)

Not receiving any penny from TE or KOKO because ugh it's another story but I also started master degree in Haaga-Helia since 2024 Jan. Thanks in advance for any input and GOOD LUCK for everyone who is waiting!

Hi, I have sent some supplements at 6 months (travel and pay stubs) and then after my most recent travel in August I sent another travel update. A couple of days ago I also sent in more pay stubs just so they have all the information they might need, but still have not heard any requests from them and no decision :(
I don’t know what is taking so long, maybe they need to request information from my home country and that is taking a long time? I’m not sure, but I am definitely very anxious for my decision. It’s hard not to check email and enterfinland like 500x a day
Oh well, all I can do is wait. If they have not given me any request or decision after like 3-4 weeks I will probably email and ask. I hope you don’t have to wait as long as me for your decision!

Tota kai!
16.01.2023 A diary number has been created & stage 1 started
--.07.2023 My last payslip supplement
My A permit lasts until July 2025. My address was in my HOAS apartment even though I almost moved to live with my Finnish boyfriend in his house in Espoo. I did report in the application I travel to Vietnam and work from home (literally) for 5 months and 2 weeks so I think that made my application into slow lane. But my mom was very sick back then so..

Thank you for sharing! Aaaa yeah, such a mystery. I just saw some from 2023 thread and so many different situations. Some took weeks until positive decision. Oh hey, have not SEEN any NEGATIVE decision so hahaa let's try to stay positive and keep manifesting our Finnish passport  I think everyone has their own story why this matters so much but aaaaa I will try to not think about this and back to normal life :D Thank you and hope good news soon for all!!
