Hello everyone
I was granted a citizenship today.
Arrived in 2019, applied for citizenship on 28 March 2023
Background - entrepreneur, managing director in my own company
Altogether about 23 months of waiting for processing
2 weeks in processing stage
2 additional requests regarding my income during this stage

My child was a co-applicant and was granted citizenship as well.

I don’t remember my initial queue number.
I’m so happy that this uncertainty is finally over and I will never ever again gonna visit enterfinland 😁
Wow, big tanks for sharing and congrats as it gives me a hope. :lightbulb:

I'm entrepreneur myself, applied July 2023, so hope my time will come soon, and not in 31 month.

Can I also ask you, what kind of question do they ask "requests regarding my income during this stage". Do they ask you to send contract agreements with counterparties or just ask where incoming is coming from? i.e. what level of details they ask, I'm thinking to attach this info before they start to process.

Congratulations!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Your experience mirrors mine (toiminimi, took 23 months (2022-2024) before processing started, two requests for information about income).

Migri asked to list all income I’ve received in the previous 4 years prior to processing, i.e. from 2021 to 2025. And the 2nd request about two categories of income I’ve reported, regarding whether I have paid my taxes from all my income sources I’ve listed.
And updates about my trips.
They didn’t ask anything regarding company or business activities at all.

Thanks everyone for congrats and wishes to the bunch of 2022 and 2023 to receive your positive decisions asap.

Hello
I would love to ask you, what are your experiences with Enterfinland and why would you like to never see it again? This question is just from the curiosity about the experiences with the Enterfinland system

It’s not Enterfinland itself was unpleasant, it’s rather my perception of the whole process of applying for permits and citizenship, waiting periods of uncertainty and mystical segregation of applicants into long and short queues which made me feel like “never again”. And it all was associated with Enterfinland as a point of contact with these procedures.
The system itself worked mostly fine, at least I personally never encountered any technical issues while using it.

Has anyone here or do you know anyone who has been rejected?
Would unpaid debt or bad credit in home country lead to a rejection?

Application has been stuck in phase one for a year and a half and I'm thinking about could this be why
Sorry if this isn't the place to post this

IIRC the only documented rejection on this forum was due to defrauding kela and not paying back.

Not sure if unpaid debt in the home country could lead to a rejection. But there are multiple factors that could make your phase 1 take a very long time, the most common one is being an entrepreneur.

One year and a half, like for 18 months? This is normal. Mine is 19 months already because I'm enterpreneur. Do you have any company in Finland opened on your name?

There have been podcast on YLE, usual rejections: people apply and ask language excemption or they apply to earlier, also traffic fines like with more than 20km/h which are classified as crime. In your case your applicaion has not been opened yet, so no reason to worry.

Can't find it anymore. Also, I think it was on YLE Russian version

Thanks, I'm not entrepreneur or anything complicated (i watched a training video for foodora but decided my back was too hurt and never took the job, hope that doesn't put my name in anything). And finnish credit good. Just from a country that bankrupts people for hospital bills (not why i left:). Hope you hear from them soon
