Today I finally received the decision.
22.12.2022 - Visited Migri with my kid.
12.06.2025 - Application moved to second stage. No information request.
19.06.2025 - Received positive decision.

It was a very long and stressful journey for me.

Anyone on same boat?

My application went into progress 3 months ago, after one month got one additional request about incone clarification and since then 2 months, no decision is made yet? What is wrong with Migri? I called and they said generally, just wait patiently.

Do not really know what to do, than waiting. So frustrating.

You can find my post in previous pages. Almost 3 months after additional request was issued by Migri (answered within 24 hours). No decision made yet.

I am really not the expert on the matter, but following the same trend I would say they are consistent with delivering decisions either at the 23-24 month or 30-31 month mark depending on which queue your application is placed.

I was waiting 3 month in stage 2 already without reasons. Moving to stage 2 does not mean anything. It is really up to the person who processes it.

It does not help to ask other's people case. Your case is individual and nobody how long it will take for your case and depend on your application and also the person who will processes yours.

I applied in May last year and got into progress stage 3 month ago, until now no result.

Thanks. I'm from south east asia, married to a Finn, moved to Finland in 2014 and have part time job since 2018.

7.1.2025 got diary number 91
13.6.2025 moved to stage 2 at 12.30 and got decision after an hour. (Estimated time given was 9-31 months, but it took only 5 months, 10 days )

Nope. Additional request was made by Migri 3 months ago, answered by me within 24 hours, as stated previously. Still no new questions, no new additional request, no decision.

Me too, I called them few times and it does not help anything. I think it really depends on the officer who processes our application.
What was your request about? I got requested about income in the past.
The person who processed mine digged really much into income in the past and now she did not even reply anything

Upon application in early 2023 I provided all the information needed back then, it was mainly income in 2023 and 2022 form my Finnish firm (as I am an entrepreneur) and travel info. I had some entrepreneurial acquaintances who submitted their applications a bit earlier than me and who informed me on the fact that they had got moved to stages 2 and 3, so I renewed my income details by adding info on the year 2021, full 2023, full 2024 and the first months of 2025, because that was needed, according to my acquaintance's request. In a couple of weeks I got moved to stage 2, too. Yet I got an additional request where I was asked to provide additional information on my firm. My income is ok, but they wanted a statement on the shares and info on income from abroad if I had some. I had some (freelance income), so I have thoroughly filled in a table with all minor pay slips from abroad along with tax returns and agreements. I believe this is too much for Migri to process, that is why it takes so long probably.
