In process of spouse of a Finnish citizen residence permit. Mother threatening to get me deported.

I've been staying at my Finnish spouse's mother's place during my residence permit process, and my spouse has been having some mental health issues, and her mother is blaming it all on me, saying that "you need to call your parents and go back to the US now, or I'm calling the police to escort you out of the country," so I'm being kicked out of the home. What protections do I have? I refuse to just leave my wife due to her mom's opinions; however, the housing part is tricky and in crisis mode now.

Her mother has no obligation to house you but the deportation thread is baseless. Police will only escort people out who have a deportation decision that can be executed (doesn't have a blocking appeal).
