Interesting to read what different clubs seem to line up for their Pre Season "warm ups"..
Arsenal have a few easy ones.."Barnet"..a run around in Austria....then
"River Plate" and "Ajax" looks like a sensible preperation.
Chelsea go to Oxford for some eduacation ..before taking on Celtic, Roma, and AC Milan.
Man Utd.. ...only play against "Stalybridge" and "Radcliffe Borough" prior to their first Prem match away to Chelsea.
Oh well I am sure Sir A knows what he is doing...

I may try to get to that game. Is it definitely at the Finnair? I seem to remember them playing a champions league qualifier at Myrrmäki or somewhere (?) last season. Glentoran rings a bell?

Tottenham Hotspur are having friendlies around sweden.
I dont give two farts, but my brother in england does. Being a spurs supporter, its finally a decent enough reason to come an visit.

We play Bayern Munich, Celtic and Milan too

On our annual USA tour. Probably why we're just playing local friendlies after that

Finnair has a plastic pitch (had my first ever game in there last week

) UEFA probably insists on a CL qualifier being played on grass

How big is the stadium at Myyrmäki? I have been to visit friends, who live just accross the road from the big shopping centre many times, but I've never noticed a football stadium.

Pohjala Stadium is almost new it seats about 5000.

By the way while finding this I also found that Alliannsi have moved a fixture from 21st to 29th "koska on UEFA matsi 21st HJK v Lindfiled"
If you click "Karttalinkki" the stadium you can just see on the extreme left of the map..(it is actualy just to left of Myyrmäki Ice Hockey Halli on the map)

In case anyone is interested HJK beat Linfield 1-0 at Windsor Park Belfast so HJK come home to Finland for the next Wen match at Myyrmäki with a good chance of going on to the next round..when who knows who they might face.

Excellent
It looks like all big games in Finland this year will have to be played at Myyrmäki because the Olympic Stadium is being renovated and HJK's pitch is astroturf, I dont think FIFA/UEFA will allow many games on that.
Apparently Finland arranged to play all their WC qualifiers away from home first so they can use the Olympic Stadium for their home games in 2005
