Anyone for a bit of Fantasy Football

Post by simon » Tue Jul 20, 2004 10:08 am

I have enterd a team with some old work collegues and have been doing it now for a few years.

If anyone is interested in doing a FF team then let me know and we could set up our own . mini league.

Have a look at this

Here is a sample team

Sounds like a good idea, although my knowledge about the smaller premiere league teams (Norwich, Palace, ManU, etc...) are rather non-impressive!

The prices for the players are a good indication of what the player is like.

You dont need that much knowledge to play.

If you look through the site and have a look at the players list you can see all sorts of stats.

I dont have a lot of knowledge on the like of Palace, norwich et al.

The start of the season is the 14 Aug so if we get our league in before then you can make unlimited transfers, basically you can play about with your formation.

I think the cost is a £10 and all cards are accepted.

If we get enough interest I will set up a mini league and post the pin number and then you just join with the pin I have supplied. Let me know and we see.

I think that this is one of the best FF games out there and its very easy to use.

I could set this up by the end of the month if thats cool.

Simon will be relegated by Xmas, with his Nistelrooy, Henry and 9 cheapo player tactics ;-)

Now there are four teams in the league.

Are many premiership matches shown here (either on terrestrial TV or at Sports Academy) and do people have a greater interest in teams with Finnish players, for example Southampton?

Most PL games are show here but only on canal+, which you get on the staerlite('Del only fools and Horses'). Most good bars have canal+ and you can generally see a saturday game!!!

Indeed I think and from who I have met most Finns are more interested in teams that have your token Finn playing. I went to the Doctor the other day, no not a dose, and when he heard my accent and I told him I was from London he asked you support Chelsea............No I said why chelsea I asked, cause M Forrsell.
