I'm the guy from Canada who posted a message on September 17th asking for assistance in locating Old Finnish Glassware (myrkkylasi). What I neglected to mention, is that I am willing to PAY for the assistance! I am a totally legit person - a bit weird though. Who in their right mind wants the stuff anyway? Well, I do!
If you like going to antique stores, auctions and flea markets, and want to earn some pocket money in the process (how much depends on what you can find for me), please drop me a line at medhatab@telus.net. You'll need to have a digital camera so that you can send me pictures of your "finds", and easy access to the internet.
I can teach you everything you'll need to know about buying myrkkylasi in a couple of hours. It's relatively easy, and quite interesting!
I am hoping to find one interested person in Helsinki, and one in Tampere. If you live somewhere else - no problem! I'm sure there's loads of the stuff scattered around the Country, so what have you got to lose?
Thanks for your time - and love the Forum. Have thought off and on of moving to Finland, but don't think I could learn the language. George
Please, Let Me Try Again

Ahh, that stuff we just shipped to Estonia o the truckload?
(just kidding) ... one local lovejoy here. I'm more after Arabia stuff. Who you need to Find is someone who travels a lot aon the Vaasa-Jyväskylä-Tampere-Turku axle and back up on the coast. I mean the finds I could make in Virrat fleamarket!
