The Next run of the Helsinki Hash House Harriers and Harriettes will be at 14:00 on the 7th November.


The Run will start at Pietarinkatu 16B 70. Where we'll have both runners (<5km) and walkers trails. Afterwards we'll have some food and beer. Cost 5 Euros.

Helsinki Hash House Harriers and Harriettes can be best described as a "Drinking club with a Running Problem".
(We could call ourselves the "Pyttipannu-Talo Harriers, but that isn't quite as catchy)

H5 has been causing chaos and confusion in the streets of Helsinki – and not only – since 1990. Hashers are mainly English speakers, coming from every country and continent of the world. Most of current H5-ers are expatriates, but there are also Finns and visitors from foreign Hashes. It is considered the best entertainment in the International Community and a great way to meet new people or to discover urban areas and woodlands. The average "pack" per week is around 10-20.

H5 runs every other week, normally on Sundays. There are normally two trails: one for Runners and another for Walkers. After the run we have food and drink. Beer is the official Hash Drink, but, also soft drinks and water are provided.
