Saab for a good (immigrant) home! One 1982 Saab 99 GL 5 speed (ooohhh the luxury) with a mere 290k km, requires an engine mount repair and a new gearbox gate (although you get used to the lack of this handy feature). Our Saab manny in Tapinilla will do both these jobs for 150 - 200Euros. This will keep it going until Jan when its KATS (annual test) is due. Then it needs about 300Euros of chassis welding. We have decided to stop spending money on it as I needed a bigger car anyway (I've bought a Volvo estate), but Aino's family have had it since about 84 and I know they secretly want it to go to a new home and not the scrappy! Winter tyre condition is slightly iffy I think, but I picked up a set of summer tyres for 50€ so I guess you could find some winter tyres for about the same. Car is in Helsinki.
