Sorry guys, I've been so busy, I haven't even checked this thread. What time does it start? And I know its pretty late to be asking, but is anyone driving by Munkkiniemi or through town that wouldn't mind squeezing me in? The last time I took a pie (pumpkin) on public transportation, the maple whipped cream somehow exploded from it's tupperware container and splattered all over me and the bus.

Is that an invitation? Don't have your digits. Could meet you anywhere central so you wouldn't have to go out of your way.

I thought, when in Finland, women did all the asking?!!

I didn't realize men were allowed to!!!

First few months I was here and a colleague mentioned in passing how she had gotten down on one knee  and proposed to her now husband, I almost peed myself laughing and lost it, had to maintain professional demeanor and attitude, and good thing I somehow managed to do so because this is apparently quite normal here. It would be interesting to know actual percentage.

Sorry guys, it's something in a million years I don't think I could do. You can take the girl out of Texas but you can't take Texas out of the girl.

I didn't ask him, I just gave him an ultimatum: My way or the highway. I wasn't going to stay here without an absolute commitment from him.
