That won't help.

For keeping your RP you have to continue to reside (AKA pay taxes) in Finland.
tausif.baber wrote:keeping my mouth zipped sounds reasonable at this moment, once I have enough money I can pay them back with interest, but all I need is support at the moment.
Think twice before committing such a fraud - you might end up with a criminal conviction that could cost you both re-entering the Schengen area for years and your permission to reside in the UK.

Well, its actually residents, but as neither of the OP is a työtön työnhakija - it is irrelevant.

I'm in family residence permit, so, if I don't work, I'd instead bag your tax moneys    so, irrelevant of what you are saying. They may revoke my RP but i'll get another one as easily as eating butter with cheese :D But the thing is I want to keep what I have so, I don't have to apply for visa/RP whenever I need to land here.

BTW what is criminal conviction ? what crime you do see here ? I see it as tax return, if you pay more tax in a year, the end of next year you'll receive the extra that you paid, hence, if I take more, at the end of next year I will pay back with interest. If I cannot pay they'll list me as bankrupt, So, to be bankrupt is perfectly legal in this ideal world. I don't see any case of fraud here. Now the point is since I am working, I can get bank loans, so, if I don't pay the loan back then also no one can do anything lol, you see bankruptcy ? recession here it comes !!!
Pursuivant wrote:Well, I hunted back in 2010 Aug-Dec for a job and landed finally one (but I was looking all over, the Irish economy collapse buggered things up pretty well). So what have your relatives been telling you? Pavements made of gold? Or is it 18-hour days alternating at a car wash and kebab delivery at the cousin's firm? Your missus actually could probably land a job in a few weeks in her niche - a crap job in telemarketing/support callcentre even in London but more jobs "up north". But that'd be 20-25 K a year so nothing to diss first off. You could be the modern daddy and stay home - one person working you get the NI numbers and "into the system" Now you got the problem theres the "1000 unemployed Nokia Engineers" x 10 looking for work as well in your niche.

I'll give you an estimate when and if I score a new job/contract. Its been... umm... 4 weeks now. If you get a really cranky helpdesk answering one day, you know where I ended up
Relatives' says: IT field has jobs others are nasty. I have relative experiences, in my country and in Finland too, so, not thinking about unskilled jobs. As the few interviews I had, I am getting confident, I might land one once I am there. Still your words about "Promiseware" tinkering in my head. Anyways, it might worth giving a try.

You ever thought of why the RP application asks you to list all of your past criminal convictions?

In order to get Kela benefits, you have to be registered as a resident of Finland and need to make visits to työkkäri every and then. Staying out of Finland without being registered as a resident won't get you any benefits. There are people (cheaters  ) who go on vacations on kela benefits and come back when it's työkkäri time, but they are all the time registered as residents at some addresses in Finland.

Kela is doing something on this issue, I think.

I wonder how much of it is verified. A rapist wouldn't write in form that I raped a girl about five years ago and been to jail for 2 months. So, you get the point ? If you look at the criminal case every traffic offence is categorized as crime, so, don't give me that bull-!"#¤% logic.

yeah, I wonder where the bills collector would chase me :D, even the EU laws about it are not clear.

Good luck to kela for that, I am not talking about unemployment benefit here, I am employed and I am a good taxpayer. I said I just receive housing allowance and money to my kid from kela. So, my plan is to keep that money until I find new job in UK. Since Kela doesn't pay housing allowance to me if they come to know I am not in Finland, so, to receive money for few months I have to keep my mouth zipped and not inform them that I am out. If they happen to learn about this, then they'll send me the bill to payback, which I would happily do when I am earning. So, the moral of the story is, enjoy the moment when you have !!!

This is actually much more complicated, since the typical non-EU-citizen resident does not have the right to work in another EU country - implying he cannot receive unemployment benefits for searching work there.

But we both already agreed that this is anyway irrelevant here.
