You can take step by step process.
1. You can request (but not warning or threat and keep the proof of your request) them not to make loud noise but the noise did not stop.
2. You can ask (keep the proof) the landlord/lady for help in that issue, but the problem still persists
3. If you can prove the fact that the noise disturbs you and it affects your sleep a lot and it is affecting your performance in the work. In that case, I think, police can help you. However, if you cannot prove anything police will not take any action.

Sometimes this colud help. Apparently OP tried something like that (openly or anonymously I don't know). The suggestion of ilikepeanutbutter just might help as well.

It was Friday night - people have sex!! I'm sorry, but I honestly think that you are not the grown-up here. If it disturbs you so much then buy ear-plugs, there are some very good ones on the market (I recommend the silicon plugs, easier to handle than the foam models.)

It is just normal to have sex. And sex can get a bit louder, that's called good sex. And I want people to have sex, and make lots of babies, so maybe when I'm old there is a slight chance that there are enough tax payers left to pay for my pension.

For the police to get interested the noises would have to be extraordinarily loud and audible for a longer while. Apart from that, you are the foreigner, that makes dealing with the police harder. You will only make the situation worse.
