Has anyone else stopped receiving the “waiting for processing” automated emails? I was supposed to get it last Monday and have been getting them every 4 weeks for 9 months. I called Migri they didn’t seem to have a clue. According to Migri and enterfinland my application is still in the waiting phase.
it stopped being systematic on my side also like 2 months ago, nothing to be worried about, this is what i am sure about

Hi,

Has anyone who applied during Dec 22 - Jan 23 got their decisions lately? It's been pretty quiet since last week. Has the winter holiday already started with Migri  ?

I've also heard people who applied in February or March this year have already received their decisions but nothing from January applicans. I myself applied in the end of March, estimated time 9 months, fingers crossed I get it this year.

I also applied at Dec 22. I emailed them a couple of months ago, and I got reply that the estimated time for my case is 28 months.

Hello everyone, if there are people in the group whose waiting period exceeds 31 months?

Mine is 31 months. I do not know why. Came to finland 2019 with A permit wrote yki and passed, submitted application with yki first then later added my ammatti tutkinto. Have a permanent contract but still have to wait for 31 months. Tired of waiting already. Applied on 27th October 2023 and got dairy number same day.

I applied end of March as well, is you diary number 28××/310/2024 ? I read some with 24xx/ and 26xx already got their decision. I called in September and Migri said that I am in 10 months queue, i have no clue what it means in practice

Hi, mine is 24xx/ and nothing. It looks that this number doesn't correlate with the processing time much. So by calling them can they really give the actual waiting time? I thought as they wrote on website: "You cannot get a more accurate estimate of the processing time by calling our telephone service or by emailing us."

Yes, my diary number is 28**/310/2024. What a weird order they have...

I applied end of march as well, diary number starting 25XX, still waiting. I wonder if the ones who received with 24XX and 26XX are exception cases.

I also got the 31 months estimate by phone and I also applied in the end of October 2023 (don't remember the exact day). I begged the migri worker who answered my call to tell me why my case would take this long but they would not say. I am not a refugee, I never commited any crime, I never asked for KELA support, I am not from the countries whose citizens face strong stigma against them nor from countries whose passports do not fall within EU standards. Based on my "research" in internet forums, people who fall in the long list and do not match the aforementioned things, they may have 1) traveled too much (what's too much? I don't know) 2) be an EU citizen or family member of an EU citizen (why? I don't know) 3) arrived in Finland on a tourist visa and here obtained to a residence permit (sometimes it may be a problem, sometimes not). Please do not take what I say as the absolute truth, I am just like you all trying to survive this process that's very heavy on the mind.
