At least if you check new processing time it says 7 - 16 months so yours might come latest November if they respect that and does not change the time soon![]()

I have checked today out of curiosity too. The website says the processing of citizenship application takes approximately 24-26 months. So hopefully by 2024 I’ll get my decisionAuringon_kukka wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 3:00 pmAccording to migri's website as of today (2022-09-22): "Expected processing time for application 7-26 months." It’s not same for everyone depending on how you ended to Finland. If customers has passport and residence permit. It’s at the moment 7-16. Those who can’t be identified approximately 24-26.Mamusha wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 8:03 pmI have checked today out of curiosity too. Yes, for people who came without passports/visas/residence permits (e.g. refugees) they take extra long to do background and security checks I think.Mamu wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 10:05 pmIt’s not same for everyone depending on how you ended to Finland. Re: Citizenship Application 2022
I waited for mine in stage 2 one month and a half! Was quite stressed cause i had temporary job contract and i am from belarus which sided with rusdia during the war. But it went well and their only concern was that i forgotten to mention 1 outside of eu trip and they granted citizenship when i sent the explanation. I think they check applications for trips abroad randomly at least this can cause stage 2 for 1 month...have the best luck with yours! 1 month stage 2 waiting is stressful and more exausting than 8 month stage 1 waiting... but is pretty normal i would say not abnormalMamu wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 6:59 pmThanks I hope soboy30062021 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 3:34 pmThat was yesterday for sure you will get yours next week![]()

Re: Citizenship Application 2022
Apparently there are two options that I hadn’t noticed earlier: citizenship application and determination of citizenship status. The first option gave the estimate of 24-26 months, second one 3-21 months. Kinda confused which option is applicable in my case. Not a refugee or asylum seeker. Came initially with type B as a dependent.browndude wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 11:42 amYes, for people who came without passports/visas/residence permits (e.g. refugees) they take extra long to do background and security checks I think.

trust in the documents of those country is low. There no data exchange to verify to costumer. Country on the list is the waiting 24-26 Migri is not mentioning the country on the list at the moment but those people are intelligent people so deep searching.

Yes, you are right. 24-26 months is given for third world countries and 7-16 for applicants from EU.Mamu wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:19 pmIf it’s B as a student same algorithm go as a Pakistan IndiaMamusha wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 5:36 pmApparently there are two options that I hadn’t noticed earlier: citizenship application and determination of citizenship status. Re: Citizenship Application 2022
From this very email, I don’t think your application will move to stage 2 before getting a decision. I believe after providing Migri with the informations they asked for. Your application will automatically move to stage 3 (decision is ready). I’m saying this because my friend got the same email in stage 1 and got decision in two weeks without moving to stage 2RafaAfi wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 11:51 amI have got below email, does anyone know what this means? Re: Citizenship Application 2022
No mail, no call...on last friday of august they asked me for trip info by mail. I responded the same day. Then i was checking my queque number in the chat next day and there was a message that they cannot show me number cause probably there is a desision so i logged with bank account and there it was. Seems many ppl had same experience - mail only about additional info, decision only log in!Mamu wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 4:33 pmIt’s stressful for sure I got the use to it.
