Can I ask for recommendations for a road cycling tour in Finland? I've been in the region twice so far. Once I was cycling in Aland Islands and another time did a week tour Helsinki - Turku - Rauma - Tampere - Lahti - Provoo. Though most of it was great, Rauma - Tampere segment was boring. I wonder which region you would suggest taking next for a week road cycling holidays around midsummer.

Concentrating on the area (roughly) within Lahti-Jyväskylä-Kuopio-Joensuu-Lappeenranta, and using smaller roads, gives you plenty of scenery due to the abundance of lakes. With the caveat that some smaller roads are gravel, which may be an issue depending on the tires you're using.
