Question regarding new legislation changes regarding residence permit

Hi,
Recently I have seen new circular about stricter changes when applied for residence permit. When I submitted my application I didn't have my new passport so I used my expired passport number. Later I went to service point with new passport for strong verification.

After reading new circular, I am afraid how it is going to affect my application. Can anyone share thought on this matter please?

Letting your passport expire is a criminal matter but that’s for the police. Migri should be ok as long as it’s valid when the decision is made.
