Hey folks! I recently received my citizenship this week. I turned 30 earlier in the year. However, due to the fact that the year in which I turned 30 is not officially over, Poliisi requires that I get an exemption certificate from the military regional office for Uusimaa before they can issue me a passport / identity card.
However, despite it being a few days, the military hasn't yet received my information (I called them twice).
I had some trips planned for the end of the year, including a business trip at the start of January (wasn't expecting it to go into processing so soon), so I was hoping to get my passport before then.
I was wondering if anyone had a similar situation and how long it took the military to get your information in order to be able to issue an exemption.
Thanks!
How long does it take for the Military to get your information after citizenship to issue exemptions?

Have you tried going to the local office to ask?
