My partner (an EU citizen) and I are planning to move to Finland. Currently, we do not reside in an EU country. We have been living together for 1.5 years, but we are a few months short of meeting the required duration for the process. However, we have officially documented our cohabitation in our home country with evidence such as 2 rental agreements and a joint bank account.
I would like to know if this form is sufficient for me to apply for a residence card as a family member of an EU citizen in Finland?
Thanks!

"evidence of cohabitation, such as a rental agreement, an extract from the register of occupants or some other document proving that you and your partner have lived together for at least 2 years or proving that you have a child in your joint custody."etti_s wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 11:11 amMy partner (an EU citizen) and I are planning to move to Finland. With just a description of "a formal form" I doubt anyone is able to give you more info than the above.

You are right, I will update my post with more info. Anyway, we have officially documented our cohabitation in our home country with evidence such as 2 rental agreements and a joint bank account.betelgeuse wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 1:01 pm"evidence of cohabitation, such as a rental agreement, an extract from the register of occupants or some other document proving that you and your partner have lived together for at least 2 years or proving that you have a child in your joint custody."etti_s wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 11:11 amMy partner (an EU citizen) and I are planning to move to Finland. Re: EU Family Member Residence Card
That is enough once there's two years of evidence as explained by Migri.
