Work permit for extended

Hello,one of my friend came here on work permit and he apply in January for extended work permit,in May migri ask for bank statement from 10 October 2024 to 30 may 2025 and my friend provided,also migri send letter to his employer to provide us all contracts you have and how many employees you have,after two months two days ago migri called him for interview,so he have interview in next month 9 August,my question is any body here face this situation,it's normal or which kind of question migri will ask,or he need lawyer help,please guide me,thanks
