How is the salary calculated in Finland?

Hello everyone,

If a summer job is listed as 2100€/month, is that the gross salary or the amount you actually get after deducting health insurance/pension but not income tax? I am trying to find out the actual amount.

That's gross. You will have to pay tax and the employee part of social security (mainly pensions) from that amount. The tax calculator for tax residents is here:

However, if you only come to Finland for couple months, you will have to look into how tax treaties and your tax situation in other countries goes.
