Back for Christmas

Post by Niraniel » Sun Oct 09, 2005 8:18 pm

OK, not exactly moving to Finland but most exactly going back to Spain for Christmas.

As I'm not very familiar with travelling by air, and for what I have already read, there are here some people that go on holidays to Spain, maybe someone can advise me.

I want to go back to Spain from 15 or 16 of December till the week of 12 of January, doesn't matter exactly the day. I have been looking with Kilroytravels, as I am student, and the round trip Helsinki-Bilbao is 360€ and I was wondering if there's something cheaper or this is a good price.

Anyone knows?

If you get cheaply to Tampere you could try to check Ryanair. It will fly from Tampere to Frankfurt and Stansted. From there you can get fly to near Bilbao.

I quickly checked fly thru Frankfurt and if you are willing to stay overnight at Frankfurt at both ways, flys will cost you 106 €.

If you want to be a bit creative
Line up tomorrow at Stockmanns for the ticket to Barcelona
Helsinki - Barcelona for 195
You have to be quick - they are selling fast
I'd get there at 7am and line up before they start at 8
then ask your relatives to come and get you, or catch a train from Barcelona to Bilbao

Hello,
I have been coming to Finland and going back to Spain quite regularly in the last 2 years. and i can really tell you that the cheaper option is to fly with Ryanair, i go from tampere to london (stansted) and then from there to spain with the same company, now there are more flights and if you look for it so well you wont have to spend the night in the airport.
Hope this helps you.
