I don't care much for baseball anyway....

I was a HUGE baseball fan when I was a kid. Was on a girls softball team for many years. Mom took me to all the sox games whenever they played Oakland (A's were my fav team). This is back when they had Canseco, McGuire, Henderson, etc... I was decked out in all my A's gear at Chicago's Comisky Park

.
This is so exciting though! Wish I was home to share in the excitement. Chicago goes nuts for their sports teams. I can remember all the way back to the '85 Bears superbowl victory (I was only in 2nd grade), our school enforced a dress code making it mandatory to wear blue & orange the whole week! If you didn't have anything blue or orange on, they provided you with that color construction paper to make a homemade hat with the bears logo LOL.
I also have great memories as a teenager during the BULLS double 3-peat years. That was insanity each time they won. Riots, looting, etc... (okay that was extreme, but some of us celebrated in a legal way

) I ditched school to go to the all the Bulls victory parties with my friends each year in Grant Park (the whole team & coach was there with the trophy, Queen's "we are the champions" playing from the speakers, ahh it was great!)
GO SOX!!!!!!!
